The Prem Rawat Foundation to provide relief to victims of Hurricane Katrina
Hurricane Katrina devastation
TPRF, the organization through which Prem Rawat spearheads significant humanitarian initiatives, responded promptly after Hurricane Katrina hit the United States' Gulf Coast. Within a few days the TPRF website made it possible for people to contribute to this important initiative, and TPRF volunteers were assessing how to best use these contributions. For Linda Pascotto, President: "Our heart goes out to the victims of this terrible tragedy. While no amount of material aid can make up for the losses that many people have suffered, we can help bring some dignity to their living conditions. From the moment we opened up the TPRF site for donations to help Hurricane Katrina victims, contributions have been pouring in. This indicates that, with each new humanitarian initiative we launch, a growing number of people, whether or not they are familiar with Prem Rawat's message, express trust in the Foundation and in its ability to find the best possible ways for their donations to reach those in need. We are now analyzing a number of possibilities in order to allow these generous contributions to have a strong, healing impact in the field and to make a real difference. In the weeks ahead, we will provide updates on the progress of this initiative."

Your contributions, small and large, are much appreciated.
